NegozioDelVino This is an almost microscopic area compared to the entire appellation, yet it is sufficient to produce a sparkling wine that many consider the absolute pinnacle of Prosecco production. It is no coincidence that it is often referred to as the “grand cru” of Italian sparkling wines. The name of the area has its roots in the past: the most widely accepted theory links it to the dialect word “Gardiz” or “Gardizze,” which referred to the racks used for drying the grapes. NegozioDelVino This detail alone speaks volumes about the character of this wine, born of a land that knows patience.

THE WINERIES: WHERE WINE BECOMES AN EXPERIENCE

Visiting the Cartizze region means, above all, meeting the people and the wineries that are passionately dedicated to the area. There are numerous opportunities for wine tastings, and each one offers a unique perspective.

PDC – Cartizze is one of the most unique wineries in the area. It is the only winery specializing exclusively in the production of Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG, with a very limited annual production of 15,000 bottles, and it is the only winery in Cartizze to be certified organic. Winery The guided tasting experiences allow you to explore the four versions of Cartizze—Brut, Dry, Bio Extra Brut, and Bio Extra Dry—through a visual, olfactory, and gustatory analysis led by expert guides, paired with local cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano and Piave, breadsticks, and Fregolotta cake.

Cantina di Garbara, on the other hand, offers a more intimate and family-friendly atmosphere. Nestled among the hills of Valdobbiadene, in their cozy lounge area, you can taste Cartizze and other wines paired with local cured meats and cheeses. Garbara Cartizze: A simple and authentic experience, perfect for those who want to take a break and savor the scenery at a leisurely pace.

Ruggeri, a historic winery in Valdobbiadene, is an essential destination for anyone wishing to delve deeper into the culture of Prosecco Superiore. It offers tastings, guided tours, and walks through the Cartizze vineyards, designed to introduce visitors to the various stages of production of Valdobbiadene DOCG and to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Cartizze isn’t just a wine: it’s a piece of the landscape in a bottle. Driving along the narrow roads through the vineyards of Valdobbiadene, stopping at a winery, listening to those who work this land every day—it’s an experience that no label can ever fully capture. You have to come here, at least once, and let the bubbles do the rest.

[5
post-533","cp_esperienza","type-cp_esperienza","status-publish","hentry","ct_categoria-food-wine
["GET
